Since 2002, the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China (DCCC) has been organizing a yearly Charity Gala Ball in Beijing.
DCCC has been donating the entire proceeds of its annual Gala Ball in the past 10 years.
The administration of the Gala Ball is done by a group of Danish Taitai (the accompanying spouses of the Danish expatriates) in cooperation with the DCCC Secretariat.
With the sponsors’ generous support, the DCCC Gala Ball has raised more than 4.8 million since 2003, enabling better educational opportunities for the poorest children in China. The schools built by DCCC are in the provinces of Guizhou, Yunnan, Sichuan, Henan, and the sun village of Beijing.DCCC has always chosen children's education as its charity cause.
