On January 12th the four Nordic Chambers and Business Associations together with the Nordic Centre of Fudan University as well as the Consulates General and Innovation Centers of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland are very pleased to invite you to the 3rd R&D Seminar.
About the Conference
The Nordic Innovation Seminar is an initiative started by Innovation Center Denmark, Shanghai in cooperation with the Swedish General Consulate in Shanghai, Finnode, Innovasjon Norge, the Nordic Center at Fudan and all the Nordic business councils in shanghai. The purpose of the conference is to promote knowledge sharing and networking among Nordic companies who are either already driving R&D in China or interested in doing so.

About the speakers
Dr. Karen Atkin Is vice president of AstraZeneca R&D in China, she joined AstraZeneca 13 years ago. In this role, she leads the company’s Chinese R&D organisation, with a focus on achieving a step change in speed, quality and customer focus in the delivery of both new products and medical affairs. Karin Akins has reshaped AstraZeneca’s business model to add new capabilities and tap into external collaborations and partnerships.
Wenqing Yang Is General Manager of Loe Asia, he established Loe design in 1995 in Shanghai. Today Loe has more than 85 employees in three offices around China. Besides being manager of Loe Yang Wenqing is also an Associate Professor at TongJi University. He been engaged in product for more than 20 years and focusing on the combination of product development and brand.
Jason Huang Is Co-founder & President of TANG User Experience Consulting, Co-founder and president of UPA (Usability Professionals’ Association) China as the 1st Non-Profit organization of User Experience in China. Jason Huang has 8 years of experience with Innovation and User Experience within China.
Dr. Jeremy Teo leads the Pharmaceutical R&D sub-practice for McKinsey in Asia. He has worked in R&D in the US, Europe and Asia, hosts a regular Quarterly Heads of Pharmaceutical R&D Roundtable in China and is a regular speaker and panelist at industry conferences. Dr Teo is a Physician by training with clinical training at the National University of Singapore and Yale School of Medicine. He also holds a Masters in Molecular Immunology from Harvard University and an MBA from INSEAD.
