Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); September 19th, 2008.
Cathy Duan welcomed the audience to DCCC?s breakfast event and introduced the two speakers, Sven Riskaer and S?ren Albertsen.
Firstly, Sven Riskaer entered the stage and made a humorous and interesting presentation. He had a pragmatic approach to the topic and gave some excellent examples of good and bad CSR and explained why CSR is so important.
Subsequently, S?ren Albertsen went on stage and immediately caught people?s attention by dividing garlic into two and then holding it in his hand. Later we found out that this was a way of showing that CSR needs to be incorporated in the entire company body to generate a ?that is just how we do it?-attitude. S?ren Albertsen did his presentation very lively and with several examples like the above mentioned.
When the two speakers had finished it was time for questions; several questions were asked and answered and we had a good discussion on the topic.
