| The well-known and popular restaurant/pub The Den - during the Olympics renamed to the DenMark will provide the venue for Danes and friends who want to follow the Danish athletes quest for medals in a comfortable, colourful and friendly atmosphere. The many big screens provide full access to all the Olympic broadcasts and the detailed food and drinks menu as well as special events and deals during the Olympic festival offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Olympic vibe and the good company of old and new friends.

| At a reception at the Beijing Sun Village on 11th June 2008, Mr. Tom Behrens-Sorensen, Chairman of DCCC North China, presented a cheque on behalf of DCCC of CNY 400,000 to the founder of Sun Village, Mrs. Zhang Shuqin. Sun Village is a non-governmental charitable organisation dedicated to providing foster care and education for the children of imprisoned parents.
