Danish Agriculture & Food Council (DAFC) represents the farming and food industries of Denmark including companies, trade and farmers’ associations. It is the result of a merger between the Danish Agricultural Council, Danish Bacon and Meat Council, Danish Pig Production and Danish Agriculture. The organisation also undertakes a range of key tasks for the Danish Dairy Board. As an important part of DAFC, the Danish Bacon and Meat Council represents the interest of the Danish Meat Sector in the EU and on the Global Markets. DB&MC works with partners and stakeholders across the value chain - producers, companies, organizations, governments, and authorities. DAFC promotes the political influence of the agricultural and food sector, offer a comprehensive range of cost-effective services for its members and implement research and development programmes within food safety and veterinary issues, animal health and productivity, animal welfare, environment and energy. DAFC China office are located in both Beijing and Shanghai.
